With Vehicle Inventory Module, a Dealership knows, at any time, what is their Saleable Inventory, what is the stock in Transit, under PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), at Warehouse / Stock yard - Model and Color wise.
Holding Cost and Ageing of each Chassis can be known.
Key features of Vehicle Inventory Module include - - When ever a consignment of Vehicles is Dispatched by the Manufacturer / Supplier, the information about the shipment, may be received by the dealership either by e-mail or through a Custom EDI Interface. The Vehicle Inventory Module, has an option for directly uploading this information, from the E-Mail / EDI Interface. The information, which can be uploaded, includes - details of each Chassis being shipped, Model and Color. The consignment, once uploaded, is shown as "Vehicles in Transit".
- When a Consignment of Vehicles is received at the Dealership, the details can be entered on the system, if not already uploaded (as above). Incase the information has already been uploaded, then, the status of each chassis is required to be changed from being " In Transit" to " Received"
- Based on Inspection of each chassis, for any Transit damage, a chassis may be catalogued either as "Ready for Selling / OK" or as "Damaged".
- As the Chassis are received at the dealership, the Purchase Order information is accordingly updated, with the "On Order" quantities being reduced, by the number of Chassis received.
- The module has an option, which allows the dealership to "Allot" or "Hold" a chassis for a particular customer. This ensures that the chassis is not sold to any other Customer.
- The Vehicle Inventory Module is integrated with Financial Accounts module. This ensures that, the details of the Purchase are automatically posted in Financial Accounts, crediting the Supplier / Manufacturer account with the value of the Stocks received.
- When ever a Vehicle is Invoiced, the Inventory is reduced accordingly.

- A Sales Person may search for a Vehicle's availability on multiple search criteria. The search may be on Vehicle Make, Model, Variant / Options, Color etc.
- With the feature to "Allot" / "Hold" a vehicle for a Customer, a particular chassis may be reserved specifically for a Customer.
- Knowing the "Age" of each Chassis, help dealership plan moving the older stocks, to avoid Inventory deterioration. Holding cost of each chassis can be known, by knowing the number of days it has been in stock and the price at which it was purchased.
- Integration with Financial Accounts ensures, the Supplier / Manufacturer Accounts are updated immediately on a Receipt of a Vehicle Consignment by a dealer
